Heidi and Mark chose to have an intimate ceremony, uniting themselves and their families, at the sweet SMCC All Faiths Chapel. It was a warm fall day with blue skies…ideal for taking a boat ride in Casco Bay, eating cupcakes and getting married in Maine, of course! On the way to the ceremony, a ladybug landed on Heidi’s daughter, Sadie. We unanimously agreed that it was a symbol of being lucky in love, and was welcome on our ride to the chapel.
Warren, who officiated Heidi and Mark’s touching ceremony, shared a special connection with Heidi. We were particularly moved by his heartfelt thoughts, and loved how he brought their hands together to bless their marriage.
During family portraits, we found ourselves a fine assistant…he appeared to have the required qualifications to make people smile 🙂
From the Chapel, we strolled toward Spring Point Ledge in South Portland to create some fun portraits.
These vibrant arrangements were created by Nina Hirth of Pauline’s Bloomers!
From Spring Point, we all hopped in a water taxi to motor our way to the afternoon reception.
Heidi and Mark received a warm welcome from the fabulous Megan Brady, event coordinator extraordinaire, at the Saltwater Grille.
❤
Loved the cute little milk cartons that appeared when it was time to eat those cupcakes! (But the cupcakes may have reigned supreme for some…perhaps including myself and Tim…)
Wow, Heidi and Mark! So much love and so much fun! Thanks for having us along for the ride ❤ Congratulations! xo
