Ocean Gateway Wedding • Stephanie + Jonny • Portland Maine Wedding Photographer

Stephanie + Jonny were married on a quintessential foggy, coastal afternoon, which threw a dash of extra romance over the day! (We ❤ the fog!) Their Portland, Maine wedding was full of sweet personal touches. They were married by one of Stephanie’s best friends, while another friend read amazing poetry she had written for the occasion. Stephanie’s mom, Marsha, quilted the chuppah, and Jonny crafted the gorgeous wooden bases. They danced the night away to the jams of Velourosaurus and took breaks to soak in the salty air and the views of Casco Bay. Here’s a peek at their lovely day!

It was such an honor to photograph your wedding Stephanie + Jonny!

Thanks for having us along for the ride <3.

Tented Maine Wedding• Sarah + Dan• Brunswick Maine Wedding Photographer

Sarah and Dan poured personality into their gorgeous Maine summer wedding. They are full of DIY spirit and created loads of fun, personal touches: Awesome lawn games (gotta love ginormous Jenga!) and a lobster boat puzzle guestbook, the most lovely hand-lettered seating plan on salvaged windows, centerpieces that nodded to a familial love of scuba diving….oh, and did we mention their transportation?

Sarah and Dan win the prize for the most unique wheels we’ve seen at a wedding! Sarah rode to the ceremony with her dad in a Studabaker Avanti while Dan cruised in a ’69 International Scout (which he refurbished himself and drove up all the way from Virginia, no less!)

They were the first couple to ever have a wedding ceremony at Mitchell Field in Harpswell (chosen because it was a symbolic landmark that reminded Sarah of feeling safe and being close to home on childhood sailing trips ❤ )  In fact, Dan and the fellows donned ties featuring nautical charts of the location, created by Coastline by Anne Zimmerman. And one more new one for us: a unity pipe fitting, a nod to Dan’s engineering profession, was incorporated in the ceremony. As you can see, Sarah and Dan are full of talent and love!

Here’s a glimpse at their day!

Sarah and Dan!!!! Congratulations on a super fun wedding! Thank you for having Angie Devenney Photography capture your awesome day!

Rockport Harbor Wedding •Gwendolyn + Mark• Rockport Maine Wedding Photographer

Gwendolyn and Mark were married on a perfect July afternoon at Mary Lea Park, overlooking Rockport Harbor. They opted for a “first look,” setting eyes on each other during a quiet moment before theie ceremony, which provided a sweet opportunity for photos. Their ceremony and celebration had a relaxed, family-oriented focus, incorporating their daughters and nephews as their attendants. Following their vows, Gwendolyn and Mark celebrated outdoors with their closest friends and family at their home. The party was complete with pizza fresh from Uproot Pie Co.’s traveling brick oven; a candy bar (YUM!);  and we can’t forget the pool….or the Amazon Prime delivery on their wedding day…totally our style 😉 Here’s a peek at the festivities!

Congratulations to Gwendolyn + Mark (and Bella and Julia too!) Thank you for having Angie Devenney Photography capture your love-filled Maine Wedding!

Point Lookout Resort Wedding •Kelly + Michael• Northport Maine Wedding Photographer

It’s Kelly and Michael’s big day! You may recognize their smiles from their Pemaquid Point Engagement session!

Kelly and Michael married at the summit of Point Lookout Resort in Northport, Maine which is along scenic route one, nestled between the Camden / Rockport and Belfast areas. The sky was a stellar blue on their wedding day and the view from the top of the summit  provided a breathtaking backdrop of Penobscot Bay and the surrounding Maine Islands as they took their vows.

Kelly shared a tid-bit of how she and Michael met with us…we’re so glad that they found one another!

Our “love story” began in 2012 when we were introduced to each other by our mutual friend Niki. After Niki told both of us she knew we would be perfect together, we went on a blind date at a local pub. (To back track just a little, Niki had been telling Kelly for two years about Michael, but they were unable to meet due to his work and military obligations). We sat at the pub getting to know each other and lost track of time. We didn’t leave until almost midnight! From that day forward, we have been together.  Niki was absolutely right, we are perfect for each other!

Nice match-making Niki! 😉 Here’s a look at their beautiful Maine wedding!

Big thanks to Michele Stapleton who worked with Tim and I as a third photographer on Kelly and Michael’s big day!

Congratulations Kelly + Michael on the Best.Day.Ever! Thank you for having Angie Devenney Photography capture your super fun Maine Wedding!

The Portland Club Wedding •Allie + Hunter• Portland Maine Wedding Photographer

You might recognize these two awesome people from their Boston Seaport Engagement session, it’s Allie and Hunter! Here’s a peek at their Portland, Maine Wedding Day!

Allie and Hunter married in the Chapel at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, a cozier space within the Cathedral, that’s light, airy and beautiful for a ceremony!

Following their vows, we all hopped on a bus and headed to various locations throughout Portland to create some fun portraits. We made stops in the Old Port and at the Eastern Promenade (we even saw another wedding about to start…which also happened in Boston during their engagement session 😉

Allie and Hunter chose to have their celebration at The Portland Club, a historic mansion in the heart of the West End which was perfect for their classic wedding! The Black Tie Company took care of all the details for the day, from the moment Allie walked down the aisle, to the amazing food and drink, to the last dance. Speaking of dancing, the Jim Ciampi Band made sure the dance floor was packed…at.all.times!!! So fun!

We have to give a shout out to Rene Roy, who came along with Tim and I as a third photographer! Thanks Rene!
Here’s Allie and Hunter’s Day! Enjoy!

Congratulations Allie + Hunter! Thank you for having us photograph your amazing day!

Brunswick Maine Engagement •Katie + Josh• Maine Engagement Photographer

Katie, Josh and I spent a glorious June afternoon exploring Brunswick and Topsham during their engagement session. We photographed on the Frank J. Wood bridge, which links the two towns, as well as the Androscoggin Swinging Bridge, Fort Andross and the famous Brunswick institution, Frosty’s Donuts! We wrapped up their fun engagement session at the Bowdoin Island Mill, home of the Sea Dog, one of Katie and Josh’s favorite spots for a bite! Stay tuned for their wedding….coming in May 2016!
